Jaxson Daniel is now 10 months old and thriving, he was born November 25, 2011 via C-section. He is so amazing I can’t remember life without him. I have forgotten the sadness I had without him and the dream that was now is. I am living each day to the fullest with my two babies and counting my blessings.
My C-section was planned mostly because I had a C-section before and I have never been one that dreamt of child birth. As long as the baby is healthy I am happy. I had a rough pregnancy; I had to administer shots in my belly everyday due to a bleed and gestational diabetes which I was able to stabilize with my diet.
It has taken me so long to update because after Jax was born my focus was on my mother. After we found out we were pregnant my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 incurable live cancer. We spent the first 9 months of his life spending time with Nana, going to my mother’s appointments, and taking in our dream come true and our worst nightmare with my mom’s diagnosis.
My mother was in the OR when he was born and was one of the most excited people when we found out we were expecting. On August 3, 2012 my mother lost her battle with cancer and now I guess I needed an outlet and rely on this to get it out.

Miracles do happen!
I am about 31 weeks pregnant! We were surprised in early April 2011 with a positive pregnancy test just two months after letting it all go. The hope, the dream, the stuff, basically the baggage that was holding us back from living our life in the moment. I was so concentrated on the calendar of it all and finally at the beginning of 2011 decided it was time to let it go find happiness in what was and not what could be. I have to admit, the thought of another baby never left my mind I don't know if it could have ever 100% been just a laughing memory but for the first time I took control.
It has taken me this long to update my blog about my new upcoming addition because frankly I have been living in fear. What if the baby doesn't make it what if this is all a joke or a dream I need to wake up from. I cant say this pregnancy has been a walk in the park but I will save that for another blog post. What I can say is that if my baby was born today it would have a pretty great chance at life so I have come to terms that this is for real. Our newest addition will join our family on November 25, 2011!

I Have An Idea!
With all the reality TV these days, why not a show that helps people with infertility treatments? We have all seen "The Baby Story," why not Fertility and Nothing But the Truth? A show that follows families through their struggles of infertility treatments. A show full of facts about infertility, doctors that provide the information that most of us learn along the way through our fertility journeys and celebrities that have struggled through infertility that could help shine a light on the reality of infertility.
Why not put the insurance companies on the spot and ask the tough questions about coverage. For instance why isn't fertility considered a disease that should be covered by ALL insurance companies? According to Merriam Webster a disease is "an illness that affects a person, animal, or plant : a condition that prevents the body or mind from working normally." Why is infertility treated differently?
Infertility can be diagnosed but once you are diagnosed the medical field can only offer you expensive treatments that have no guarantee that at the end of the process the outcome will be a baby.
So, for just a second, imagine a program that could change the way in which we learn about infertility, change the future of treatments and could perhaps open the doors to more options for the regular person. What if your fertility treatments were paid for by allowing people to go on your fertility journey, would you do it?
